AW: We set a date! (now with venue pics)

FI and I are booking a venue for April 18, 2015. We're using a chapel on campus and then taking our guests out to a restaurant after the ceremony.

Now to decide whether I want to add a signature ...

Woohoo!  Congrats!  Did you book the restaurant, chapel, or both at this point?  What kind of restaurant?  How big of a wedding will you be having?  Sorry, am I asking too many questions?

@Pepperally, we booked the chapel today. We haven't booked the restaurant yet, but we have many choices where I'm at in our price range that take reservations for this type of event. We're looking at inviting 50-55 guests. If we can there's a local restaurant that is well known for its American food and wide selection of alcohol - our guests would be very well treated! Since our reception is just going to be dinner, it's not really any different from having a rehearsal dinner, which helps keep our options open.

Love it!!! Very neutral inside which I would prefer. And modern. I love the outdoor areas a lot! Great places for photos with that bridge and the water.

Very beautiful. Actually at first I was wondering "why would a church need to be so beautiful?" Then I remembered it was on campus...campuses always tend to have that flowy grassy beautiful feel (okay maybe not always but I love your little beautiful chapel and my rationalization was kinda hilarious)

@blue, your rationalization made me giggle.

Slight details on restaurant: the one we really want to use is one of our favorites in town. It's kind of got a rough outdoorsy feel - the decor is mainly rougher wood. Think "lake cabin" or "hunting lodge". The room we would reserve is up on the second floor. Awesome food, mostly American-style. Coffee-rub steak to die for. Great burgers and sandwiches. Well known for its beer.
