Hair & Makeup Trial?

When does everyone recommend a hair & makeup trial? My wedding is in October. Creeping up on 5 months. I was thinking of having my trial done early in June. So closer to the 4 month mark. Just not sure if it's too early. Sorry if this has been posted here before I'm on my phone!

    I have mine scheduled a month before, but my MUA has an idea of how I like my makeup done (she did my makeup for our e-photo shoot) and the hairstyle I want isn't too complicated.

    Well I set up my trial for June 15th. A little under 4 months. Gives me time to try changes. My only concern is makeup. My family friend is doing both. She did my hair for a few dances I went to in highschool which was over 8 years ago. My hairstyle isnt too difficult. We'll see! Thanks ladies!

    Many makeup artists and hair stylists require a deposit to hold your date.  I wouldn't leave money until I had a trial and knew I liked them.  Given that many good MUAs and stylists book quickly, this isn't something I'd sit around waiting to do.
