    Can you be more specific about your location? 

    When you say artistic, do you mean a sculpted cake (like shown on Ace of Cakes)? 

    I'm in Madison and was really impressed with Carl's Cakes, but I don't think he does sclupted cakes.  He does buter cream icing with beautiful piping.  Craig's and Hubbard's are popular choices too.

    yeah like sculpted...my future hubby is a bass fisherman so I wanna get a boat shaped cake...

    Eat Cake!  in Milwaukee does great sculptural cakes.

    Cake's by Dea out of Marengo, IL.  She's doing a groom's cake for us (we are getting married in the Lake Geneva area).  It's going to be a record player.  She's awesome!

    Does anyone know what Eat Cakes prices are like for grooms cakes? 

    My guy is into biking and I was thinking of doing the cake myself but I am not sure if I will have time.  But I know I don't have much to spend on it.
