@Swazzle I'm having 1 bridesmaid/moh/person standing up there with me, so by default yes they will all be in the same dress ;-) .  She's a little older (44) so I was just checking out some of the options that are more mature.

@CloGreenEyes - It's really up to MOH what she wants to wear.  I'm just afraid to walk into a bridal store looking at bridesmaid dresses with a tight timeline of when I need the gown and looking for a more mature dress.  If I had a choice, this has been my favorite dress, but nobody around me sells the designer (and I'm not sure how MOH would feel about it):

@TwoDimes YAY!!!!!!! So excited for you! 

I'm here, just have been super busy with work this week. My project got pushed back again, so my manager put me on a different one that people want results for ASAP (literally, starting asking me for results within 5 minutes of my manager putting me on it). I love 10+ hour work days...../sarcasm.

Anyways, BF and I are settling into our new place still, and we met some of our neighbors who we went out with on Saturday night and went to brunch with on Sunday, so I haven't had much time to be online. They are all about 10 years older then we are, but we all get along like we have known each other for years. The one also kept calling my BF my "husband", and was so embarrassed when he realized that we weren't married yet.  

This weekend, we are going to a beach party for all the 20-somethings who work at my company on Saturday. I am so excited for free food, kayaking, paddle boarding, and tubing! So I probably won't be around much this weekend either . 

ETA: Oh, we also realized that our cheap dishware didn't fit in our new dishwasher, so we went and bought a nice set of china this weekend. It's a casual set, and it was the only thing we could find that we liked that would fit. BF started talking about other things that we should put on a registry "in the future" while we were looking. I love the thought, but statements like that are driving me crazy.

@Dignity100 - have you looked at Dessy Group dresses?  I looked at some of their BM dresses to wear as a wedding dress and felt there were some that were more for my age on there (I'm 38).  I also liked some on Jasmine in their Bridal Reception dresses (which come in a variety of colors).

As long as everyone's shopping online, does someone want to look for a not-strapless teal dress for me? I'm thinking rehearsal dinner and maybe bridal shower (FGMIL may have offered to host one, but this comes third-hand through FI who thinks bridal showers and engagement parties are interchangeable in definition).

@Dignity100-I would consider steering clear of bridal stores or "bridesmaid" dresses at all, especially since you only have one person.  You're going to have a lot more options, a lot more beautiful dresses, and potentially lower prices just buying a regular cocktail dress or evening gown.  Another advantage is she can wear it again. 

For my best friend's wedding, we all went to the BCBG outlet and bought the same dress, it was gorgeous and only $50.  For mine, I don't care that they wear the same dress so they are just choosing evening gowns that they like.

Obviously you may find a great bridesmaid dress and maybe she will wear it again, but just a thought.

@carliealissa - We're just going to go everywhere looking at dresses.  I just went looking for a special occasion dress and they didn't have that many color options.  I want to stay away from dark colors if possible because it's outdoors and the heat; neutrals are fine or if we're doing a color, I'd prefer yellow, orange or purple.

I was suppose to be going to the dentist but insurance is being dumb so I had to reschedule. So now I'm going on july 12th. I went to the bank and deposit some money in checking and savings. I lost 3 pounds yay! I'll definetly meet my goal I think. V and I are going tubing later on today and I'll workout some more. We are going to a benfit concert for the humane society this saturday. Its going to be a lot of fun and low key. Its at a cute little B&B so I think it will be a fun day. We are also watching Chicago later on tonight yay! So overall good day/weekend ahead.
