Groom's Gift: His monogram or OUR monogram?

I'm looking into purchasing engraved cufflinks for my fiance for our wedding day. Should I use his monogram (with his first, last and middle initials), or OUR married monogram (my first initial, our last name, his first initial)? Has anyone else done something similar? I want the cufflinks to feel like they're his, but I also think our married monogram is meaningful to the day. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

    Edited for reading fail.

I'd probably get the one that includes both of you. It's a reminder of a special day and something he can certainly wear again.

A man's cufflinks should be engraved with his own initials.

His own his gift, that is how I feel.

I don't think your initials should be on his accessories.

@andreadcarroll  You should definitely use his initials.

I second (third? fourth?) using his initials. You could always have your initials (as in, both of yours) engraved inside his wedding band.
