We are getting married next summer and we have a 2 yr old, who will be 3 by the wedding. FI and I want to do a cruise, so we would be gone for like 8 days. I hate to be away from him that long, but then again we really want a HM and by ourselves. 8 days is a long time to be away and I feel like we are being selfish, but than again it's our HM and we've never been on a "real" vacation together.
Any one with young kids, going through the same thing? What are you doing about it?
