Does anyone have any advice about planning a wedding after sunset? The only date the venue we liked (Elms Mansion) has available is November 7, and I just checked and that is after Daylight Savings time, and the estimated sunset time for this year's November 7 is 5:09 p.m. Unfortunately, the venue said that weddings start at 7 p.m. only; they sounded maybe willing to push it up to 6:30 but it sounds like I can't depend on that. I have a temporary hold on the date, haven't put a deposit yet, so I'm just wondering if anyone has been to a wedding at the Elms after dark with an outdoor ceremony? Did it turn out ok? Or if anyone has any other advice I would love to hear it!
