We finally have everything booked!

We are getting married 5-18-15 at the Plaza Chapel downtown, then we will be having our reception at The Bier Garten in the Plaza, we have the patio for the evening. We are having Sin City Cupcakes!  And we will be staying downtown at the Downtown Grand.  Gin and Sake for our photographers for the day.  Stevee Danielle for HMU.  So exiting to have everything all sorted out. We love downtown and so we decided to just go for it and do everything there.  I think we will do the DDB for a meet and greet and get a cabana at the pool for everyone too, maybe as a welcome get together for during the day.  It has turned out to be super affordable doing everything downtown.

@tffnyjean Did you see The Plaza ahead of time? I'm thinking about changing to that chapel.

I did go see the chapel ahead of time, it's small, although they say it will hold 50.  Their bridal dressing rooms were being remodeled at the time.  There is no extra fees to use any outside vendors or your own music.  Kelly has been really nice and quick to answer questions.

Make sure to post a review about your experience, @tffnyjean! We're seriously considering the Plaza. Is it a little overbearing with all of the damask in person, or is it really pretty?

Are you using the food from there for reception? Have you tried the food  if yes? We are doing a cocktail reception  and maybe this may work. How many people are you having? We are at about 40ish. Sorry so many questions. We are headed there next week to try and book things. Thanks!

xoeden - the damask isn't too overbearing. It's nice and intimate.  We wanted to have our ceremony on the pool deck but it would have been an additional $500, so we are just going to squeeze everyone in the chapel.

Jenni - we haven't tried the food yet at the bier garten.  We are doing a brawurst bar and giant pretzels, and cupcakes, nothing too fancy.  I think we are going to be around 60 people.  They are closing the patio for us for the evening.

Good to know that the Plaza chapel is intimate and not overbearing. Can't wait to do our scouting trip. Oh, so exciting for you!
