Shawl/Pashmina/Scarf Suggestions

I'm getting married in March in NJ and who knows what the weather will be like this year. Does anyone have a suggestion for wear to look for something to wear with my wedding dress?

    Show us a picture of your wedding dress, that will help. 

    I wore a black leather jacket and it was awesome.

    I'm getting married in November in Boston...also a situation where the weather could be pretty much anything! I bought a pashmina in a silver-gray color in case it's chilly. I don't plan to be outside much at all, though. It'll just be if we're doing pictures outside, something I can wrap up in as we walk over to the spots.
