Good morning everyone!

Has anyone here been to The Chandelier at the Cosmopolitan? I'm really thinking this will be our first stop Friday night for the girls!

Yep, it is awesome.  Real swanky like.  Drinks are, of course, expensive, though.

It's my favourite bar in Vegas. We always have pre-dinner cocktails there.

@destinationtake2 I can't wait either, it really will sum up how I want the weekend to start. Looks absolutely gorgeous, and I wouldn't mind going there after the wedding for some shots as well!

I'm just worried that I won't get enough "Vegas" pictures, since the ceremony is at 5pm and I get an hour of photography through the chapel, and from there we're supposed to head to Mandalay Bay to join the already started party...

Should I be selfish and take some more time to tour the strip and take pictures of my new groom and myself?

I don't think it's selfish! At most weddings, the guests wait a certain amount of time while the couple takes pics.

It's beautiful!! We are having our meet and greet drinks there the night before the wedding!
And yes you should get some extra pics if you want to! We are having another hour at the wynn as the grounds are so gorgeous!

We're staying at Aria but getting a Cosmo suite for one night and renewing our vows on the terrace. @Futuremrshauger

@nicolajane81‌ ~ were you able to reserve a location/spot at Chandelier Bar? I have tried and they keep telling me they don't have pricing for that time yet and to call back when closer. I'm wondering what this "pricing" is? I want to
simply reserve a spot for about 20 of us. Is this possible?

My fiance and I are interested in reserving The Chandelier for our post-reception celebration. We were quoted a $55++ drink minimum per person, though! Eek! We're not sure what to do at this point. We definitely can't afford that minimum, but we're thinking it will be impossible to just roll up unannounced with 35 people at 9:30 pm on a Friday night...

@americankorean that's way too much per person.... I was wanting to start the night out there for my bachelorette party, but I'm thinking I'll have to look "off strip" for some low budget fun LOL

@khristiana‌ depending on the vibe (and day) you're going for, blue martini usually has a ladies night as well as Stoney's and PBR Rock Bar ($25 all you can drink). A group of girls can usually just walk into a casino and get picked up by a host for free entry, front of the line and you can usually talk them into a couple free drinks. I know Koi at PH offers $20 all you can drink from 10p-4a. It's not huge and not one of the up and coming clubs, but you can drink for fairly cheep.

@nyvegaslove - I was quoted the same as @americankorean so we are just planning to tell guests we will be there from a certain time and they can come alongside. We will pay for a couple of drinks for everyone.
I'm hoping as it is a Tuesday, that we will be ok.

I just wanted to mention it in case you were thinking of having your wedding/reception photographer come to Chandelier with you to take pics.  Cosmo has at times been difficult with professional photographers that are not part of their own contracted crew.  So just something to be aware of.  Certainly no issue with friends and family taking their own pics anywhere on the property, they just have had a few reported instances of asking pro photogs to leave.

Our photographer mentioned this to us but we feel (hope) we'll be able to get just a few quick shots. We're going to keep our smiles on and move quickly. LOL 

And we actually plan to have drinks there before dinner (and after our pro shoot is over) so worse case scenario is that we at least get a non pro shot from anyone who is willing.

It is insanely gorgeous, we had our first look there and were immediately kicked out.  So be very sly if you are trying to take pics there, we had a videographer and photographer with all theirequipment.  So just be a little more sly than we were...but they were not messing around...they kicked us right out...haha.

@khristiana- Here is a benefit to you having your friend take pics! There is no pro to kick out.
