Hey guys, My sister and one of my BM are throwing us an engagement party this weekend, which you may have seen on the Chit Chat board. The entire wedding party is pitching in for the food, and it's being held at my parents' place. My question is: Do you buy a hostess gift for everyone, just for sister and BM who planned it, Mom too because it's at her place? Thanks guys.

    I think it is a lovely touch to buy a small gift for everybody who pitched in to make this event for you.

    I'd get a hostess gift for the people who pitched in and planned it. I'd also get one for your mom since she is technically hosting everyone at her house. A hostess gift doesn't have to be big. A nice card and a bottle of wine is a really nice, appreciative gesture.
