Post your crock pot soup/stew/chili recipes

LSS, my mother's birthday is Friday, and she's coming over Saturday to see Wooz's soccer game (::rubs temples::) and swim class.  We'll have about 45 minutes at home in between, so I wanted to have lunch, but I won't have time to make anything before we have to leave again.  So I was thinking some kind of crock pot chili or stew or hearty soup, and I'd just get some bread, toss a bag of salad, and have cupcakes or something.  So if anyone has any recipes they love, I'm all ears (eyes?).  TIA.

I also like this recipe.  You could cook the tortellini and set aside, put the rest of the stuff in the crockpot.  When you get home crank the pot to high, dump the tortellini back in and let warm.

This isn't crockpot, but you simmer for 10 minutes.  Put it all together in the pot before you leave and start it right when you get home.

Another thought if you don't want soup is sloppy joe, taco meat, or pulled pork in the crock pot.

I made this last night and had it for lunch today.

Navy bean and vegetable soup

1 pound of dried navy beans

4 garlic cloves minced

4 carrots diced

4 celery stalks chopped

1 medium sized yellow onion diced

6 cups of water

1 tsp of salt, rosemary and thyme

Let it sit on low in the crockpot for hour hours.  It was really good.

These all look delicious, thank you!  I think I'm going to start with 6's first recipe, but I can definitely see making these others over the next few weeks, too.  Yum.
