We are really counting down now ladies!! What are some things you are all working on??

We just booked our rehearsal dinner over the weekend. We are meeting with our florist again in the next couple weeks to solidify things. I just ordered invitations last week. We will also be meeting with our officiant in the next month to nail down our ceremony. I want to get our invitations addressed before the holidays so they are ready to send out in January.

I know things are really moving fast now.  I am just kinda waiting and getting on my other half to go for tux fittings and my bridesmaid to buy their dresses.

Lets see....met with everyone except officiant, finished working on my part of the cork escort card holders last night, have to start assembling the invites and writing the addresses, and I need to figure out what the F one of my bridesmaids is doing about a dress because she's the only one who hasn't ordered hers -.-

We picked our rehearsal dinner venue last week and will be sending in our deposit and talking menu this week. I just finished the contract for my wedding hair stylist and am working on getting the bridesmaids to order their dresses. 3 of 5 have ordered them so far. We met with the priest and need to contact the church's music director and wedding coordinator and decide on ceremony details.

#Shannonmaya do worry about your bridesmaid dresses.  None of mine have order theirs and there is a 12 week lead time on them.  I should have my invite in the middle of November then all I have to do is assemble them.  The rehearsal is all set.  We are doing it in a park and going out for pizza afterwards.  I am waiting to book the honeymoon.  If I get hired on for tax season and holiday season then money will no longer be an issue. I think that is it for October.

Whoo hoo! I am so ready for it to be here. 

We are about to order invitations, I also want to have them ready to go over the holidays. 

Been thinking about rehearsal dinner location and all that jazz, and we need to work on what the men are wearing. Haven't gotten measured or anything, I do not forsee this being a huge deal. 

Also, need to nail down officiant and ceremony details like ASAP. 

I feel like things are going pretty well overall! (Knock on wood, lol)

starfish411 yea I pretty much told her that at least on Weddington Way she has until Nov 15 to get it in time for the wedding but she won't have time for alterations if she does that, or then she'll have to pay a rush fee. She's a big girl and understands, so whatever she does from now will be on her. I'll continue looking on eBay and Tradesy to see if I can find her a used dress.

Is it bad that I haven't even looked at officiants yet? Still need to find a photographer, and order invitations, and find a tux that we actually like (wanted a dark grey, but all the ones we have seen have this stupid satin trim on them).

@limegrove we JUST booked our officiant... it was one of the lower things on our list, oddly enough. 

Depending on your area I would definitely get working on a photographer ASAP... some will book up to a year out! I guess it depends how important photography is to you.

We ordered invites and received them within a week - so I don't think you have to worry there... just depends how long you think it will take you to address them.

Where have you looked at tuxes? We are doing the Vera Wang Black tuxes in gray... but I think they have the satin trim...

I know exactly which one you're talking about! That is what we are looking for as well, that damn satin!

@yates2015‌ glad I'm not the only one. We may end up with black instead if we can't fine the grey. It will just make fh's hair look more grey with black tux/suits. @tcnoble‌ I know I am slacking, but two, going on three months ago I was promoted at work, and unexpectedly got sent to third shift (9pm-7am eck), so trying to find the time, when I'm not half asleep, and trying to figure out days that fh and I can actually meet with people has made it difficult (he works m-f 6am-9pm between his two jobs, and sometimes works on weekends for overtime). One good thing is that March is off season in Ohio, since it's still pretty cold out. So I am hoping that helps with booking a photographer. Fh's parents asked last week about adding a videographer into it as well, but we will see.

I think it all depends on where you live. A lot of vendors book out at least 6 mo in advance in the Miami area, so if I wanted to be particular then I booked it about 10-12 mo out.

I'm so excited that the time is finally coming!!!

We just received everything for our invitations last week. I'm the same as you! I want them done so im not stressing around Christmas.

We also just booked our honeymoon like 2 hours ago! Secrets Playa Mujeres

Our table numbers are outside drying. They're stand alone wooden numbers so I spray painted them white.

Our flowers are done so I paid the remainder and they will be getting shipped to us in the next week or so. We're doing wooden bouquets and boutonnieres!
