I will say that we've thought about the BYO option.

We would provide beer and wine, but if people will want liquor then they are free to bring whatever they would like, in a flask for themselves, or a bottle to share..lol

This may not be legal where you are, or the venue may not allow it. Also, depending on local law, you may be responsible if someone brings their own alcohol and furnishes it to a minor or gets dunk and causes damage.

Not worth the risk IMO. If people won't be gracious enough to accept their hosts' offerings instead of trying to bring their own, I don't see that they deserve invitations, regardless of whose feelings will get hurt if you don't invite them.
