Small Ceremony/Reception Venue

I am planning a wedding for next August and it is going to be small- 40 people. I want an intimate romantic setting, but am having a hard time finding something that is not designed and priced for a 100 person wedding or more. I would like it to be in the Portland area, but do not mind a bit of a trip. Any ideas anyone??? I am getting really discouraged! Help!!

    Do you want an outdoor wedding?  If so, check out:

    Leach Botanical Gardens
    Rhododendron Gardens
    Japanese Gardens
    Overlook house
    Portland City Parks and Recreation

    For the reception, you could probably find a restaurant for 40 people.  That would make your planning a lot simpler.

    We were looking at either indoor or outdoor. I kind of like the option to do both. Have an indoor ceremony and an outdoor/indoor reception. I'll look at those places! Thank you!

    Oaks Pioneer Church (though I believe they are ceremony only)
    Kell's Irish Pub
    Mount Hood Bed and Breakfast (about 90 minutes out of Portland but well worth it)
