Any Oceancliff (Newport, RI) brides or guests ?!?

    Hi,

    I attended a friend's wedding there in August '10 and it was simply gorgeous.  The weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony.  I don't remember the food really (if it was bad, I'd surely remember!)

    I had this on my list of venues but my FI put the kabosh on it bc it would be a harder destination to travel to for his fam in NJ. 

    I'm sure your wedding will be spectacular!

    I was a bridesmaid in a wedding there in August 2012.  Oceancliff is a gorgeous venue!  The ceremony was at the bride's church, but the reception was one of the best I've been to.  I even had a gift I wanted set up with a small table, separate from the guestbook, where guests could write small notes to the couple to be placed inside a personalized vase and opened on their year anniversary, and they were extremely accommodating with that!
