I have gold on right now. But I have no picture and refuse to take a picture because they ALL CHIPPED at work yesterday.

In a few days I'll have Christmas plaid and Santa suits.

@lolo883 just be aware with caviar manicures that they last about 6 hours before they start coming off, so be aware that if you want the look for a party or something, do it the day of!

Yeah I worried about that. I might just use actual furniture shellac on them.

@lolo883 I've put top coat and even gel topcoat on it and it makes the texture even more bizarre and HUGE.  I wouldn't recommend it.  Just use a ton of top coat before you put the beads on.  I would do it as an accent nail!

Yeah I don't like it on every nail. I'll let you know how it goes!

Texture on my nails drives me nuts. I also can't do matte nails. NEED SHINY AT ALL TIMES.

Lol...yeah it might drive me absolutely bonkers, but I wanted to try it. And it was like 5 bucks at TJ Maxx so I couldn't pass it up (although that should probably be my warning that nobody else likes it!). I'm only planning on doing one snowball nail.

@lacqueredlover - need your help.  I did my greatest paint job ever last night and they are now all messed up and nicked and impressed upon after sleeping.  Like they were still wet and tacky.  Despite taking a 10 minute break in between each coat and then having about an hour for it all to completely dry before bed.  This always happens.  It doesn't matter how many coats or how much time I give, it always happens. I did 2 coats of color and a clear top coat.  The only nails that didn't get messed up were my left hand pinkie and ring finger.
Any tips on preventing it?

This thread is amazing. I'm a nail biter so I never do any adventurous patterns with my nails, other than standard 1 colour. I figure it's not worth it, haha! I will live vicariously through you guys.

FYI @lacqueredlover‌ I pressed them into a thick top coat instead of the thin white it came with, and they stayed on through the whole party including opening presents. I only lost maybe 3 balls off one nail.

paperpusher sorry I was away so I just saw this.  Did you use a fast dry top coat?  What brand?  

Honestly some brands of polish just don't agree with my body chemistry and never dry.  I can't wear Revlon.  But I can wear pretty much anything else and with Out The Door fast dry top coat, I virtually never have denting!
