A family friend of FI, who was not invited to the wedding, was kind and generous to send us a check in the mail about 1.5 months before the wedding (Addressed to Mr & Mrs., so cute!). Is it OK to cash the check and send a TY before the wedding?
Also, I know they'd love to see pics from the wedding, so they'd probably get another card after the wedding with some pics (they are older and not online to see them).
I'm not having a shower, so this is our first gift and I wanted to check in. Thanks!
