I'm getting married in 5 months, and have been to 3 weddings in the past 6 months that have had a sign saying to post to instagram with a hashtag and their name or cute wedding tag. My question is, how do you retrieve those pictures if you aren't friends with those folks on instagram?? I'm an older bride that is someone tech savvy but still have a lot to learn. We have an app that folks can download that folks can upload pictures to but would like to have the instagram thing too.

All you have to do is search for the hashtag that you pick on instagram and it will show all photos that use that hashtag as long as the person has allowed their photos to be viewed by the public. 

Anyone who has set their profile to private will not have any of their photos come up in the search results. You can then request to follow them and will be able to see the photos once they approve your request.
