We have booked our wedding and reception at Brennan's in downtown. We are having our ceremony at 11 am in the courtyard and then having our reception in the ballroom, ending at 3:30 or 4. (see pics below)
Do people have cocktail hour for a brunch wedding?
The ballroom is sort of bare, so I was looking for suggestions on decor. I always dreamed of getting married outside underneath a huge oak tree, but this will be a compromise.
I am considering this or something similar for my table arrangement. (See pic below) Do you have any idea how much this would cost with the vase and branches? Do you think it will look okay in a ballroom for brunch/lunch?
Someone posted that they closed the curtains, dimmed the lights, and set the mood...... as if it were a night reception during their brunch wedding reception. Would that be a terrible idea?
