Making ribbon wands

Hi Everyone,

I'm trying to make my own ribbon wands as a substitute for bubbles, bird seed, etc. You basically wrap a ribbon around a wooden dowel and cap it with a bell, but I'm having a terrible time figuring out how to attach the bell! I've seen pictures where you attach a metal cap to the top of the dowel. It has a loop at the end where a bell hangs. I cannot find these metal caps anywhere, any ideas?

What if you glued on ornament caps? Something like this:

You need screw eyes, which you can get at Home Depot/Lowe's.

However, I ran one of my ribbon pieces through the bell and then tied the ribbon to the screw eye which was screwed into the wooden dowel. Worked well but it took a while to make 140, I think about 8 hours with my mom and at points my FI working on it with me, and it took my FI using a drill to create small starter holes on the end of each end to even make that possible.
