What is with this pose?  It looks like she is about to either undo his fly and give him a blowjob or that she is kneeling down/worshipping him.

I'm not going to share any because they're only people I know, but I poke fun at bridesmaids pictures where everyone is laughing like the funniest thing on the planet is going on. It's always so fake, like, "We're just the best of friends and LIFE IS AMAZING OMG!"

I feel uncomfortable sharing some of the cringiest pics I have for privacy's sake. But it was for a local PPD....after their DW (also a PPD)....after their JOP...

Imagine that Pinterest projectile vomited and they made it into an album. Then put 800 pics on FB, in albums spaced a few days apart. You know, so no one misses anything...

Wouldn't shock me if she's on here as she's clearly wedding obsessed

I like looking through our wedding photographer's blog to get ideas (he works with some of the best professionals in the area), and just have to snark on a recent blog post he did. I have never seen pictures like this before from him, so hopefully ours don't turn out this way. 

Our photographer likes doing the multi-paned thing, so for this one look at the car in the big picture on the left. It creeped me out the first time I saw it. 

And then there is this one, where the bride doesn't look happy at all. There's a few others like this where she isn't smiling, and it looks like she is more interested in being a model than being happy on her wedding day. At least the other two pictures above on the right side were genuine. 

Here's another: she looks like she is trying to model on the left, but looks happy on the right:

That picture is awful. For that couple's sake, I hope it goes away and never, ever resurfaces. Ever.

The jumping photo. I'm SO over it. I'm over being in weddings that do it. "oh, didn't get it, let's try that again!" um, let's not, this is fucking stupid and I'm sick of jumping. And I'm sick of seeing it done.

The cheeky photo. No, I do not want to see your dress tucked into your underwear. It's not funny and it's not cute. No, I do not care that you got underpants that say Groomsman. 

The robe photo. Cue pointed toe, leg bent/crossed inward and hand on hip. No, you do not look skinnier or better. The photo is ridiculous. 

The bride laying down. Just why? What are you seriously going to do with that photo? Nothing? Good, burn it.

Granted I'm hoping to have almost none of my photos staged/posed at all because it's really not my style, but some particular offenders that always seem to be on the "WEDDING PICTURES YOU MUST. GET." lists are:


Grooms/Groomsmen mocking the Bride/Bridesmaid... almost as a bad as any "hilarious" groom forcing pictures.


Anything weirdly sexual/suggestive


Almost all props including signs/chalkboard/empty picture frames

My sister got married in November a few years ago - lovely fall leaves on the ground. She also got us nice pashminas to wear with out BM dresses, as it got a bit cold.

Yeah, my pashmina ended up getting ridiculously tangled in my earrings and I'm stuck between a bunch of leaves in my hands/the air and hunching over like I'm from Notre Dame.

It is one of the worst BM gifts/ wedding pictures I have even seen.

I hate any all pictures that make the couple look like they are models.  You are not models.  You do not need to look off in the distance with some intense look on your face that, in the end, will just make you look like you are constipated.  You are not in one of those weird cologne ads.  You are a newlywed and you should look over the moon happy and smiling.

I'm assuming this is supposed to be "bedazzled" sports bras, and so many thoughts went through my head after reading this. Where do you even buy bedazzled sports bras, and who would even want a bedazzled sports bra? They sound uncomfortable, and definitely not something that most people would work out in. There is just so much nope in this.

My friends and I always make fun of this. When one of my friends got married and I was a BM in her wedding, we did a fake laugh as a joke and the photog snapped a picture of it. It's one of my favorite pictures. You can tell we are being sarcastic, which is totally us.

OMG, yes. Yes, they do. And I spot very bad photoshop too. Is this supposed to be like a... time-lapse kind of thing? Showing the bride in various stages of getting ready?
