Who gets invited to the rehearsal dinner?

Do readers get invited to the rehearsal dinner? I know the rule is that who ever goes to the rehearsal gets invited to the dinner but typically do readers go to the rehearsal? I've only been to one rehearsal in a church and the readers did not go.  Our priest also said that he will call up the readers by name so that they will know when it is their turn, which makes me think that they won't go to the rehearsal but should they be invited to the rehearsal dinner anyway?

I would ask them to go to the rehearsal and the dinner. If they aren't used to how to process to the altar or public speaking, this will be beneficial.

If our readers didn't rehearse, you wouldn't have heard them on our wedding day.

Yes, invite them to the RD...

Our priest required them to read the readings/petitions at the rehearsal because he'd experienced too many blundered readings by people asked to do a reading by the couple but never bothered to even read it before going up there the day of.
