Hotel Blocks in Austin?

Hi all,

I seem to want the impossible... $130-140 or less per night in the downtown area so guests have things to do within walking distance but don't have to break the bank to stay. Where did you choose for your hotel block, how much are your guests paying and what did it include (ie. breakfast, airport shuttle, etc.)?

You're just not going to get that price in downtown - the cheapest you could do would be the Holiday Inn downtown and I think that's around $150 a night. I reserved blocks at the Hampton Inn ($206 a night) and the Four Seasons (where we had our wedding) - I don't think anyone used my blocks. You could try the Radisson as well - we had friends stay there, but they didn't have any blocks available for our weekend.
