We're having our reception at the Cork Factory Hotel ballroom next April and just found out they always place bands in the back, right hand corner of the ballroom next to the fireplace. This placement seems awkward and far from the dance floor to me - which is worrisome considering how excited we are to dance at our wedding! I just found photos of a wedding there where tables were placed directly in front of the band. Ugh.
Wanted to see if any other brides out there are getting married there and planning on having a band or have had a band at the Cork Factory! If so, did y'all have any flexibility on placement of the band or creative solutions you could share?
