Re: so hard to pick a cake

  • I LOVE the 8th cake down from the top (in the first set of double pictures side by side--the gray one). These are all very pretty cakes though.

  • I like the 4th one and the 11th one.

  • I love the second from the top, but I agree with minttobemrsb; they're all pretty.

  • I say - take the pics to your baker and listen to them for what they can/can't do...  Some of these cakes will either be outside your budget, outside the skill of that particular decorator, etc.  Find the best tasting one and go with that!!!

That all-gold one (the, uh, 10th picture maybe?) is the bomb dot com.

I definitely agree with @MesmrEwe though in that you need to take these ideas up with your baker -- they may or may not even be able to do some of these things. The cake I ended up with at my first wedding was very different than the ideas I went in there with, simply because that baker either couldn't or wouldn't do certain things, and we made some compromises.
  • My personal favourites are 4 and 5 but the 6th one intrigues me.

  • Those are all stunning! Love them all! I can't decide. im not help. lol
