Bridal Shower-Special Event Insurance

Hello!

I'm having my bridal shower this summer at my community
center.  They require special event insurance.  Does anyone know the
best/cheapest place to get coverage?  I spoke to the company who does my
homeowner's insurance and he said that it would be very expensive to do
it through him and that I should check online. I just don't want to get
scammed or pay too much.  Any advice would be appreciated!

By expensive he means how much??  Really - ask your insurance guy to have it priced - if it's less than $300 it's affordable...

Can you ask the community centre who they normally use? I'm surprised that you have to get outside insurance. Usually you just sign a waiver and it's included in the fees.
