Etiquette on addressing Save The Dates

I have read several articles on addressing wedding invitations, so I'm aware of the formality with which they should be addressed. My question is about the formality that is required with Save The Dates. We are having a Saturday afternoon wedding with a reception at a restaurant, our event is more casual by nature of the reception location. Is the following acceptable for addressing Save The Dates:
John and Jane Smith
123 Maple Lane
Anytown, CA 12345

Or should I stick with:
Mr. and Mrs. John Smith
123 Maple Lane
Anytown, CA 12345

Advice, please!

Re: Etiquette on addressing Save The Dates

  • The form of address has nothing to do with the formality of your wedding.  Use titles for mail.  This is standard practice for any personal mail.

  • We didn't even use titles on our invitations, let alone our STDs.
What did you think would happen if you walked up to a group of internet strangers and told them to get shoehorned by their lady doc?~StageManager14

I prefer John and Jane Smith, but I don't expect everyone to know my personal preference.
