Bell tradition without an "entrance"

As an adaptation of the old tradition of giving all the guests at a wedding bells to ring for the happy couple, my family has one of gifting the couple with a bell which they ring when being announced at the reception. My aunt got us a lovely porcelain bell for the occasion - it even matches our china pattern.

However, FI and I aren't planning on being announced, we're just going to ride right to the reception and sit down to eat with our guests. Any ideas for when we should right the bell, then? Doing it at dinner seems weird - like we're calling servants - though FI suggested doing it as we leave the chapel. Has anyone integrated this into a Catholic wedding?

I think doing it when you leave the Chapel would be the best time if you aren't having an announced entrance. If you are having a grand exit, maybe do it then?
