So a few years back I vaguely remember a thread where people shared random facts about themselves (for example someone was an extra in a movie), so I'm going to bring it back!

My random fact: Jones Soda picked my photo for one of their labels!

I had one summer where I met a few celebrities! Some more famous than others. 

I met Katy Perry at Six Flags. She was at a Back to School concert and my family was off riding rides. I was standing with some girls and then one woman came up and she was the mother of Katy's drummer. We helped her to scream his name and get his attention. She thanked us and asked us if we wanted to go back stage. It was so cool! I had a nose ring at the time and she pointed to her nose and goes "Nice!" She was really nice!

I met Shwayze at Logan airport. I knew a few of their songs, because MTV was doing a promo on them that summer. They were walking by while we were at the airport to pick up my cousin from basic training, so I asked for a picture and they said yes! (The songs they did were Buzzin' and Corona and Lime.)

And lastly I met Taylor Swift!!! We went to her concert at Mohegan Sun in CT and it was her, Jack Ingrim, Kelly Pickler, and the headliner was Brad Paisley. At the end of the concert, you could get in a line to meet either Kelly, Taylor or Jack. We ran to the Taylor line. I got her autograph and got to hold her first CMA award! They were rushing people through the line like crazy.. and she was very apologetic. So the picture is blurry because we didn't have very long to take it. She is super tall!!!

My family owns a liquor in Hungary.  Closest description is that it tastes like Jager.  I haven't met this family, but they send me shirts and hoodies to advertise in the US for them, and have offered to let me stay in their castle if I ever go to Hungary.

@caseface5 WOW! That's awesome you met all of them! I've met some Olympic Athletes before but not any movie stars.

I was born in Heidelberg, Germany and don't know a lick of German but I speak almost fluent French.

A few years ago, I entered a random contest through Metro newspaper and won a free trip for 2 to Berlin. It included roundtrip airfare and 5 nights in hotel. I never had any interest in traveling to Germany so I was kind of like "oh cool, at least it's free." It ended up being one of my favorite trips EVER and I fell head over heels in love with Germany

I like to clean out my dog's eye boogers in the morning and then feed them to her.

H and I hauled my great-grandparents 25 kilo headstone in a backpack through German and US Customs. The look on the faces of the German security officials when they ran the backpack through the scanner was priceless.

I like to peel flaking skin from sunburns. Bonus points if it comes off in a big sheet.

Raven Simone from That's So Raven attended my middle school the year before I started there.

I filmed a TV pilot in March and am still waiting to see if it gets picked up by someone.

Since my first fact was boring here is a new one:

I have full on conversations in my sleep. DH will come to bed and I'll already be asleep talking to myself. He said I woke him up the other night and thought I was talking to him so he turned me over and I was still sleeping lol.

I never looked actually, I never thought about it.  I'll have to look on you tube tonight.  90% of what I did was print modeling.

BF does this. I never know if he's actually awake or not until the conversation stops making sense. It's REALLY weird.

I can't think of any random facts right now because I'm trying to think about school stuff but I'll post one a little later lol

@southernpeach89 I LOVE it when you talk in your sleep. It's so hilarious! Remember that one time you dozed off in the car and all of a sudden I hear you blurt out "This is southernpeach" just as if you had answered your phone? And then you jolted awake. And I was like, did you just answer your phone in your sleep?

Sometimes I used to go in to your room and hold conversations with you while you slept. Usually you were good for a few sentences before you'd start to wake up.

I'm short enough to qualify for a handicapped tag for my car. I've never applied for it since I'm not actually handicapped, but it's kind of cool to have the option.

I've never broken a bone, despite climbing lots of trees and jumping off the roofs of houses as a kid. I guess I was a monkey in another life lol.

There's an unincorporated town in Central Texas with my last name. My family used to own a farm there but sold it about 10 years ago. We also have a ranch in South Texas, though I've only been once. Apparently I'll own a (small) portion of it one day, but I won't see any of the profits due to the way the system was set up.

I too have never broken a bone. It makes me scared for when it does happen!

 

I don't really have anything intresting about myself. I do know someone who won the lottery (30M). He worked with me, quit his job, paid for his sons schooling and moved back to the philipines. He was so sweet too.

@jenna8984 dad's side of the family, invitation was extended to him, so I'd have to go with him, and we don't really talk.... I should just contact them and go without him.
