I Thankful Thursdays.

Today, I'm thankful for the following

-My wonderful, hardworking, sweet husband. I love how he's just as excited as I am about all our little home improvement projects. I love how he didn't even complain when I asked him to drive over to my boss's house to take a look at and measure the furniture he's giving us, and I REALLY love how he just handed me his phone with his Amazon account info entered and basically said "buy whatever we need for the apartment." We've always had a great partnership, and it just keeps getting better.

-I'm so thankful to not be stressing about money every single day anymore. I do really want to start building up our savings to buy a home someday in the near future, but it is SO NICE to get to spend $ on fun things too.

-I'm thankful that even though H's job has been precarious for a long time now, he still has one and he's still getting paid. 

-I'm thankful for the busy summer I have ahead of me. I have plans every single weekend for nearly the next two months, and I couldn't be happier about it.

I'm thankful that H took money out of a gift he received for me to get a massage yesterday!!  It was glorious.

I'm thankful for my new job.  I love it.

I'm thankful for COFFEE.

I have more thankfuls, but I need to wake up a little bit first.

I'm thankful for DH that will get up with Maddux when he needs to use the bathroom in the middle of the night and let me sleep. I'm thankful that he will complete our home to-do's while I'm at work.

I'm thankful for my Dad for coming over to help DH with house projects when I'm not able to and for working so hard on things that he doesn't even need to do for us.

I'm thankful for @labro because she is the best big sister ever and makes me so happy! I know you will be the perfect Aunt to Callie.

I'm thankful for my inlaws and taking us on a perfect beach vacation...which may be the last vacation we take for a while. It was much needed.

I am thankful that my Facebook settings and Instagram are private because I woke up to a friend request from my last ex before I met BF and I JUST CAN'T

I am thankful that I don't have to work till 10:30 today and was able to sleep in after a close.

I am thankful for BF, I just adore the heck out of him. He doesn't try to suppress my creativity and even when my ideas are weird or random (like wanting to learn to play the ukulele) he still supports me and I love that. There's nothing more discouraging than having to explain WHY you want to do things and he never asks me why.

I am thankful for how content I am in the knowledge that it doesn't matter where DH and I end up, we'll be happy because we are together.

I am thankful for the opportunity to interview for a new job on Monday. Even if I don't get it, the process of reaching out to different people to prep has given me a ton of confidence.

I am thankful that my body is (relatively) good shape. Even though I don't necessarily look like I want to, I am so lucky to be able to lift weights, run, do lunges, etc. So many people don't have the luxury of the health that I take for granted.

I am thankful for Coke and pretty much anything that has sugar in it.

I'm thankful for oil cleansing. I'm convinced my oils are miracle workers. 

I'm thankful for H. I can't even put into words how thankful I am for him, honestly. This week was a little bit of a struggle for us but we came out of it stronger than ever. We were open, honest, and respectful and it makes me proud to know he's my partner in life. 

I'm thankful for my best friends that I can tell anything to without judgment and who help pick me up when I'm down.

I'm thankful for sleep, I could just use more of it.

I'm thankful the baby is doing ok and we got to hear it's heartbeat yeterday.  I had a bit of a scare yesterday so I went to the doctor late afternoon for an emergency appointment.   I am thankful we get to see the baby next Thursday for an anatomy scan and genetic testing to make sure everything is ok.

I'm thankful for such a wonderful supportive husband.  He has been so helpful, supportive and loving.  I can't imagine life without him.  I could go on and on about this but I won't. 

I'm thankful on Saturday I get to pick up my one year anniversary wedding cake. Yay cake!!!

I'm thankful for my H. He fixes garage doors, solves problems, and always encourages me in my goals. I'm so happy we're married and have the rest of our lives to look forward to together.

I'm thankful for my family. I'm so thankful we all have such a close and loving relationship with each other. I'm thankful I can talk to my mom and dad and sisters about anything and everything. And I'm thankful my family is growing to include a new niece!

I'm thankful for my job. It enables me to do the things I really love - like garden and travel and spoil my future niece.

@peaseblossom55 - I'm glad baby is ok.  I'm sorry you had a scare though...I can only imagine how rough that must have been.

@swazzle - I'm sorry you had a rough week.  Hugs...it will get better.

@southernpeach89 - I think its adorable that your H gets up with Maddux.  Your H will make a great dad I'm sure.

I'm thankful for H.  My moods have been all over the place lately and he just keeps reminding us that we are perfect as we are.  If a baby happens, it happens and we will be perfect then but just a different kind of perfect.  If it doesn't, we remain our current kind of perfect.  He has some strange ideas sometimes but other times, I think he is a philosopher at heart. 

I'm thankful for the basics today...walking, seeing, hearing, thinking, talking...all the things we normally take for granted.

I'm thankful Rajah let me sleep last night...it was glorious to sleep uninterrupted.

I'm thankful for my H.  He is the sweetest.  He has been so excited since I decided to go off BCP and see what happens.  I've had a secret Pinterest board where I pin baby stuff I like for someday (not a BSC board, promise!) and today he texted me and said he pinned some stuff to the board.  He has a couple secret boards on there for hair/style stuff he likes and birthday/Christmas ideas, so I know he gets on it occasionally to pin stuff he wants to remember.  

OK, so I went to see what he pinned... THIS, THIS, and THIS.  *sigh*

And THIS and THIS just popped up.  And THIS.  That's a little better.  HA.

Somebody has baby fever!!

I'm thankful for FI. He is so hardworking and headstrong, and he will do anything for me without batting an eye. 

I like @cu97tiger's health point. She is totally right. I'm thankful that I have the ability to work out like I do and be in good health. My body may be a little heavier and flabbier than I'd prefer, but I'm still in great shape and have great health. It's easy to lose sight of that.

I'm thankful for my mom. Talking to her every morning on my way to work is one of the highlights of my day. Sometimes we frustrate the hell out of each other, but I wouldn't trade our relationship for anything. She's the best!

I'm thankful for another year of life... this time of year is interesting for me. Sunday will mark the anniversary of my engagement and also the 6th anniversary of the last conversation I ever had with my father. He died suddenly three days later on June 24, 2009. We had a rocky relationship, but his death really hit me hard. My birthday is June 28, so there's always some mixed emotions and lots of reflective thoughts this time of year. Thinking about death and mortality so close to a birthday is always interesting...

I'm so thankful for my job. I have the best coworkers, amazing benefits, and a great schedule. I've got an actual office too. Sometimes I have to pinch myself because I can't believe my luck in landing such a great job.

@KeptInStitches - That is so important!  Once H and I were able to figure that out, it eliminated a lot of conflict.  Sometimes I just want to vent and not have him fix it (and vice versa, we are both "fixers").  Listening and validating the other's feelings is so important!

I'm thankful for an H who is so supportive of me, and is so excited that I'm going to have a new job that allows me to have weekends to spend with him, whether at home, or getting to do lots more fun things! 

I'm thankful for my best friends. For EVERYTHING they do.
