REVIEWS 6.27.15- DAY 2- Total wine, marriage license, rental car, LINQ, Yard House, Meet/Greet

Let me begin by saying it was VERY hard to recover from the bachelorette party!

Rental Car: Thrifty: F, National:A
We initially rented a car from the airport branch of Thrifty. We waited in line 30 minutes and barely moved. The line was back up to the front door of the airport. There was one person working at the desk. It would have taken us a minimum of 2 hours to pick up the car. We decided to eat the reservation money and went to National instead. How do you have ONE PERSON working when you know you have reservations and walk-ins at an airport? Whatever.
National was great. People were helpful and we were out of there quickly. No complaints. We had a Nissan Altima and it was in great shape. We paid $63.00 with rental, insurance, and missing a little gas. Totally worth it for all the running around we did for the day.

Marriage License: A
We did the preapplication and were in and out in 10 minutes. It was also such an awesome time to be getting married after the SCOTUS vote there was a TV camera and a few same sex couples applying for licenses. #lovewins!!

Total Wine: A+
The customer service at Total Wine in Henderson was outstanding! We got recommendations about affordable champagne, they loaded our cart, gave us a wine coupon, and even let us charge our phone while shopping. We got a case of champagne, 8 bottles of wine, a handle each of vodka, bourbon, rum. We also got 3 36 pack light and 3 36 pack regular beers(216). We also got mixers and cups.$458.30 total.
If we would have kept the reception to 4 hours it would have been enough, I think. However, we went from 5:30pm-1:30am with about 45 people drinking. We had lots of beer, wine, and rum leftover but had to make a run for more vodka and bourbon.

LINQ Hotel and Casino: C
The check in process was a nightmare. Many of my guests had to wait like 2 hours for checkin on Thursday/Friday. I added my mother's name to a reservation and they would not allow her to checkin without me present. This was while I was running errands so she had to wait hours. Keep in mind that I was getting married there the next day and they made NO allowances. They also would not upgrade me, which wasn't expected but after the hassle would have been nice. Side note: my friend checked in hours after me and got a free upgrade to a suite so I know they were available. Apart from the check in, the hotel room was nice though not half as spacious as Planet Hollywood. Bathroom was nice. View was terrible. If I had to do it over I would have stayed at Planet Hollywood and just used the LINQ Chapel.

Yard House: A
We did our family dinner with 11 people at Yard House since everyone was staying at the LINQ. They sat us upstairs and quickly. It's a large party at 6:00 so that was really appreciated! The servers were attentive and the menu is huge. This group has some picky eaters and everyone was happy. They also gave us a complimentary dessert and took pictures for us. The view was awesome, overlooking the Promenade on one side and the High Roller right outside the window. I would recommend this to anyone! I think for 11 people the bill was under $300 with at least 5 of us drinking, ordering steaks, etc.

Meet/Greet: BLVD Cocktails on LINQ Promenade: B
We did a dutch style meet and greet at BLVD cocktail. Nice place and would have given it an A, but no bathroom?!? We had about 30 people outside on the patio and didn't make any reservations beforehand. They had live music and was open to the outside. It was fun watching everyone walk by on the Promenade and the music was good. It was a good place to post up and allow people to come and go easily.
