Is spending only $8000 on a wedding even possible?

I want a semi-formal wedding. Buffet, someplace i can provide my our beer and liquor, i'm getting a simple $300 dress but i'm having the hardest time being about to budget this out! I want something in NJ for like 150 people that ISN'T maggianos. Anyone have any suggestions? I would love to use like a mueum or a farm but even everything I checked after catering and all the fees is crazy expensive.

    Not sure where you are located, but have you checked out the Noyes Museum in Galloway or Ocean City Yacht Club?  I am not sure on their prices, but I know they let you bring your own alcohol and catering service....Good Luck!
