Bride sends bill to no-show guests

TL;DR Childcare fell through at the last minute and a couple couldn't attend the wedding. The bride sent them a bill for $75.90 that reads, "This cost reflects the amount the bride and groom paid for meals that were RSVP'd for, reimbursement and explanation for no show, card, text, or call would be appreciated."

What!! not expected, and if I receive a wedding gift this time next year I would be shocked..

Worst part is that those people are probably the first to complain once something isn't accomodated to their children when they have them.

At my wedding 11 guests were paid for that rsvpd yes and couldn't attend... While it would have been nice to save the money we spent on them.. I wouldn't dream of sending someone a bill. They didnt decide to have a wedding nor were they consulted about budget, options etc. That bride needs to suck it up- shit happens.
