First photographer meetings

I've got a list of a few photographers I'm interested in. We've discussed some pricing over email. Now what? Should I make meetings with them all, or should we just talk over the phone? I'm just wondering if the meetings will be at all repetitive on the basis of what we've already spoken about.

The only reason you'd really need to meet with them is if you want to see any of their wedding albums in person, and to sign a contract.  We had a very good idea of who we wanted to photograph our wedding, and didn't really waste time looking at too many other people.  We only met w the person we ended up booking, and we signed the contract the day we met.

I did skype meetings with 4 photographers then met in person with two to check out the books. Most of my questions were able to be answered over email so I think I was mostly just meeting to see their personality and professionalism.
