Boston Park Plaza Wedding

Hi All!

 

Have any of you been to/had a wedding at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel? Our reception is in the Imperial Ballroom in January of 2017.  With the new renovations - the venue is beautiful and the ballroom comes with its own lighting.  My ownly concern is that I am not sure if the uplighting they provide is adequate for the night.

 

Has anyone had a reception there without additional lighting? Did you feel as though that was adequate? If you could have a redo, would you opt for additional lighting?

Can they show you pics of what it looks like with the lights they include? We had uplighting at our wedding reception and went with a classic amber color just to give it a more polished look. We had friends do the pink lights and blue lights and it seemed to look a bit "disney" and take away from the classic elegance of weddings in boston!
