Indy too. And Indy thinks that every new friend MUST be kissed in the face. Violently. She has a talent of finding and invading every facial orifice. 

Vi doesn't do face kisses, but Bruschi makes up for it. Also, his tongue is ENORMOUS, so he gets it EVERYWHERE.

He also likes to give little ear nibbles, and doesn't understand why snarfing on my neck makes me laugh so hard. It TICKLES, dammit!!

@swazzle, I know! I celebrated National Chocolate Day by having chocolate frozen yogurt with chocolate chips, crushed Oreos, and chocolate syrup.

Today I have a lot of down time so I'm coming in to say hello and that I miss y'all! Today is Callie's one month birthday. Time is flying by!! 

Tomorrow I have my first postpartum doctor's appointment. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she gives me the thumbs up for exercise and seks! Before I had a C-section I didn't think that I would need to worry about sex after we had the baby but I learned that even though I didn't deliver vaginally, it's still healing in there so my doctor said nope. I miss both very much though lol. My stitches are pretty much all healed. They are a little sensitive to touch but besides that I feel like I can go for long walks and down squats and things without feeling like they are ripping.

@Goldenpenguin Maddux is the same way...anyone who comes to the door is obviously here to see him. I'm terrified of Halloween this year because of the door bell and it making Maddux bark like crazy and then waking up Callie and having a screaming baby....not cool. 

Maybe we will sit outside for a while to fix the doorbell problem and then put a sign on the door that says "out of candy". I really don't want a screaming baby and a barking dog all night.

@southernpeach89 - Heeeeeyyy lady!  How are you feeling?  Tired I imagine.  Raj has a torn ligament in his left knee...it was apparently inevitably going to tear given the angle his joints are at genetically (and his right knee may eventually tear too).  He has been scattering lately with his back legs when trying to get up from the floor and limping a bit which is why we took him in to the vet.  It won't self-heal given his size, and it would just re-tear even if it could self-heal given the angle of his joints.  Poor monster.  I saw Callie's pictures on Instagram and SHE IS ADORABLE.

@speakeasy14 that's really good to know. I was able to find an orthopedist to see me at 3:45 pm today, so hopefully they can schedule an MRI to check this. I was almost in tears a few minutes ago. And I have had ankle sprains in the past, and none of them have felt like this. I might have to Uber it there if FI can't get out of work.

All of my Halloween pet peeves have already been listed. If I pressed "Love It" then it is also a peeve of mine. If I didn't, I probably just haven't experienced it myself.

But I just solved the dog problem and am shipping him off to his favorite ever all day dog park boarding ranch place!

This gif was so me last year...well, I was handing out candy to the kids at least but I sat outside with my wine and had a blast.  I even offered some of the parents a refill to those carrying wine glasses around...they loved me.  Ahhhh, Wisconsin and the joys of public drinking.  No wine for me this year but I plan on resuming this tradition next year with a dressed up baby.    Maybe I'll dress the baby as a little cluster of grapes while I'm at it.  Poor kid.

@AlPacina We are definitely planning to use Halloween as a "no bark" training experience for Miss Cinders. She is NOT going to like it I think. I'll just be prepared with lots and lots of treats!

@GoldenPenguin @TwoDimes Maddux is ALSO an in-your-face licker. He gets in to ALL your facial orifices. Got boogers? Not anymore! Ear wax? GONE! A dirty mouth? Forget about it! My BIL claims his saliva fixes acne lol!
