Hi all!
For those who had a European destination wedding (specifically Italy), how much personal information did you have to give your wedding vendors? My photographer (who I already have a signed contract with) is asking for my birthplace and copy of my passport, which for me raises some red flags. I've heard from another bride who got married in Italy that services are taken care of differently both with payments (bank transfers) and documentation, so I'm curious to know what other brides have gone through.
