The above + the multiple vacations + after years of reminders he still continues to push the payment date means that he is NEVER planning on repaying your husband. In all likelihood he is laughing about this behind your backs. I'm disgusted on your behalf.

It is a little old but since it got bumped up anyway...

Friend 2 just told us this past weekend he is moving out of the condo to move in with his gf. This is lovely except he waited until they found a place and were a couple days from moving in to tell us. This spurred H to look through our bank accounts and he found that friend 2 still owes about $2,300 in back rent and just how few months he had actually paid rent this year.

Friend 1 is allegedly paying us back this month but is already hedging. 

If nothing else H has learned to stop lending money to friends. Or at least I think he has...
