Happy Friday everyone! What's everyone's weekend plans?

I'm at work now, only here for a half a day! My new couch is coming sometime today between 10-1! I have it set so they will call me 15 minutes before and I will run home quick and depending how close to noon it is I might not come back. I have to run and get more paint this afternoon, since we ran out and have one wall left.

Tonight my parents are coming over and dropping their dog off for the week so they can go to Punta Cana. Their dog is awesome, she's my puppy sister, and Tess will love the extended play date so that will be good.

Saturday we have to finish painting the other wall and put things back up on the walls. I might run to TJ-Maxx/Homegoods this afternoon because I would love to do a gallery wall in the living room.

Sunday we have friends coming over with their new pup and their other dog that is Tessie's age so we will have a huge doggie play date. Then BF is going over his buddy's house to plan a bachelor party/trip to Myrtle Beach, and then there is a Wrestling PPV that we will watch either at the same house or back at ours.

Hello!!

My bff is in town from NYC so I'm going to bail out of work around 3pm today and go hang out with her. Tomorrow I have a 1 year old's birthday party. When I asked my friend what characters he likes she sent me like 10 I've never heard of! I'm like geez what is all this, no Mickey Mouse anymore? lol Guess I'll be learning all about that soon enough.

Sunday absolutely nothing. Usual groceries & snuggle day.

@caseface5 Yay for getting your couch today! You will have to AW. Have fun with all the puppies this weekend! Sounds like it's going to be a fun weekend.

Last night I got all our tax documents together so when we meet with our financial adviser tonight, we will hopefully get everything done smoothly. I'm hoping to see a nice return!

This afternoon I'm going to lunch with my coworkers since it is one of their 10th anniversaries with the company. I would never work here for that long lol, I'm dying as it is and I've only been here for 2 years. They would have to pay me a lot more.

After we meet with our adviser I plan to finish painting and cleaning.

Saturday we are going to a winery for a friend's birthday. @labro is babysitting Callie and boy is she in for a crazy time. Callie has been attempting to get her legs under herself all week long and she is just dying to crawl. She can't get far but she will roll and scoot and do whatever she can to move across that floor.

Sunday I'm meeting with some friends that I've connected with through my pregnancy group on another site similar to this but it's for pregnancy-through family etc... We all live within about an hour from each other so we are bringing our babies and hanging out for the afternoon.

@caseface5 - I have a short day too! I'm only here until 9:15, and then I'm headed home to meet up with H and we're off to our anatomy scan for baby. Then I'm going to eat enchiladas and be sick the rest of the day, but I don't even care (maybe a little bit) because I really want them.

Like I said, I'm off in an hour and a half. We're going to the anatomy scan. I'm hoping to get good placenta news (and maybe be able to start walking on a treadmill and get off of pelvic rest) and a bunch of pictures!

No other real plans for this weekend. Depending on if I'm still under restrictions, I might try to do a bunch of lawn work tomorrow. Our rose bushes need to be cut back, the veggie garden needs to be tilled, gotta go get some potatoes and plant them... lots to do in between throwing up. If I'm still under restrictions, I'll just sit on the couch some more. I'll let you guess which scenario I'm hoping for.

@CocoBellaF Good luck at your appointment. This is a big one but it's also fun because how much the baby has developed since 12 weeks. We had a big gap between those two scans so it was really a cool one for us.

@jenna8984 I hang out with this group of mom's in my neighborhood sometimes and they all have toddlers and they talk about the popular characters kids like nowadays and I'm like ????? What is all this stuff? I guess we will eventually learn it too.

@southernpeach89 well we already knew Callie likes to be on the move, she was quite the wiggle worm already! Good luck auntie @labro, hopefully she doesn't make you work out too much.

So I had to come into work late this morning because my freaking car is still not fixed. I've been having sporatic misfires since June. All the spark plugs, coil packs, and the fuel injector have been replaced (multiple times). The misfire is becomming more frequent, the car now shakes in idle, and I stalled out several times last night. I've been to 6 different mechanics and no one can figure out what is wrong. And I know I can't sell it because I'll get nothing since the check engine light is blinking and all the other issues. Ughhhhh

So hopefully that is taken care of this weekend. We may go skiing with my bf's goddaughter. If not, we may just go ourselves since we have a ton of passes that need to be used before the end of the season. Other than that I need to go to Michaels and get the correct glue for my glue gun so I can make all the bows for Emmy.

Oh, I discovered another online consignment shop. It's called swap.com and they have more than just clothes. They have toys, decorations, books, movies, games, shoes, baby gear, and sports equipment. You get paid when your items sell. So I ordered a bag to try them out.

@jenna8984 - I'm so out of the loop too with cool characters. The last I heard Elmo as all the rage...of course that was about a decade ago when my nephew was still a kid.

@cocobellaf - Yeah!!!! Good luck at the A/S! I can't wait to hear all about it. I hope you get some great pictures and all positive news!!

@speakeasy14 - Ugh, I'm sorry about your car.

I have nothing new going on this weekend. Just more bathroom remodel stuff. Hopefully we get the shower tiled and the walls painted. I just want to be done already. After that work we still have wainscoting to put up, the bathtub to tile and to put in the vanity/toilet/shower fixtures. H targeted mid March to be done. I just pray to God it is done by then. In the interim, I'm going to start work on the nursery because I can't stand it. I'm going to be 25 weeks next week...I mean, the clock is starting to tick know what I mean. lol

@speakeasy14 thanks for the swap.com heads up! I may order a bag as well, I've been using vinted for a while but it seems to be dominated by teenagers these days.

I don't have any weekend plans to speak of. I am nearing the end of this term so the pressure is on and my professors haven't exactly been impressed with my performance. I am hoping for time at some point to clean out my room.... Again. Coraline has gotten very tall (and she weighs 25 lbs now!) so her head is going to start hitting the top of her crate very soon. I wasn't expecting it to happen so fast! Anyway I need to make room for her adult sized crate.

Also she's finally done with her vaccinations! On Wednesday we will be starting our foundational obedience training and soon after that we will start foundational agility! Also this means I can take her on walks which I've been dying to do. I live an exciting life lmao.

This weekend/Monday I will probably get a new phone... I'm due for an upgrade and I think I'm gonna go back to iPhone. Since my only gripe was the storage issue, I am gonna get one with more built in storage. There just wasn't a huge difference for me between android and iPhone, except that I REALLY miss iMessage lol

@speakeasy14 Some of them were: PJ Masks, Jack & the Netherlands pirates, Special Agent Oso, Miles from Tomorrowland, Scooby Doo- which I'm definitely familiar with but had no idea it made a comeback lol. How old is your car? That really sucks!

@southernpeach89 - I feel like Callie is super ahead of the curve....but I also know nothing about development. When do babies typically start crawling?

@cocobellaf - What does pelvic restriction mean, exactly? Either way I am hoping you get off it! Also GL at your appointment!! Also SUPER jealous of you 90 min work day!

@speakeasy14 - Good luck with car stuff, that sounds really frustrating.

@minskat30 - I can't wait to see pics of the remodel!

@jenjen047 She is developing quite fast but she isn't crawling yet....she is on her way though. She has been getting her legs under herself which is kind of the first step and then they start to push themselves up on their hands and knees and from there they start moving.

She has been developing though about maybe 1-2 months ahead of normal but she has always been a very strong baby so I'm not surprised. She is on time for other things though like sitting unassisted. She is almost there but not quite and doctors like to see them doing this by around 6 months and she will be 5 months next weekend.

@jenna8984 I know of Jake and the netherland pirates and the special agent oso, the others are new to me (other than scooby). But I am surrounded by girls so their obsessions are Doc McStuffins, Sofia, and Frozen. My car is a 2003, but I bought it two years ago.

@untouchablets you haven't been taking her for walks? How have you potty trained her, especially since aren't you in a city area?

@jenjen047 My vet told me I couldn't take her in any places unvaccinated dogs may have been, so walks around the neighborhood, parks, etc because she risks getting sick since she wasn't fully immunized. Which means when I take her places, like to work or the vet or my BF's house, I have to carry her. All 25lbs of her. So she's never been on a walk before, just on the leash around the yard.

Happy Friday! Bunco last night was great! I was the big winner with $8 and the Bunco gift (which was a really cute Easter bunny-shaped wall hanging). I rolled 5 Buncos last night which was definitely a new record!
Tonight H and I are going with some friends to see Indiana Jones on the big screen with musical accompaniment by the symphony. I think it'll be pretty cool!
Saturday I'm hoping to see my BFF for brunch b/c she started her new job in Austin 2 weeks ago and I haven't gotten to catch up with her. Saturday is also usually our grocery shopping/errand-running day.
Sunday we are having dinner with my parents and grandparents, which will be fun. Although I use the term "dinner" loosely, because we are eating at 4:30. LOL.

@caseface5 - That sounds like a fun weekend!
@southernpeach89 - Aww, I bet Callie is so cute at this stage!
@CoCoBellaF - I hope you get to be outside this weekend!
@speakeasy14 - I hope you can get the car fixed with minimal cost. I know it sucks. We are at a rare point where both of our vehicles are paid off, but I know it won't stay that way. H's truck is at 220,000 miles so it's just a matter of time. We are still trying to pay off his brake job from last month. Blah.
@minskat30 - You are getting closer! When is your due date?

Good morning, lovelies! I seriously can't wait to not hear an alarm tomorrow morning! Why are the short weeks always so long?

Tonight H and I are going to dinner then to see Hall & Oates in the city. It was one of his Christmas presents from me and he's so excited.

Tomorrow I need to catch up on my Shonda Thursday shows during the day and then H and I are going to see The Witch because I'm obsessed with scary movies.

I have nothing at all going on Sunday so maybe it'll be a lazy day at home.

@beachyone15 yup, I have 152,000 miles on it. Sad part is I bought it with 116,000. Downside to living in the sticks, so I refuse to pay a lot for a car when I know I'm going to beat on it.

@jenjen047 - The pelvic rest means right now, no sex, no orgasm, nothing in the vag, etc. I'm also under restrictions for no exercise, no lifting anything more than a few pounds, mostly just sitting around and resting. If the placenta has moved away from the cervix enough, then hopefully I'll be off the restrictions!

I'm leaving in 20 minutes to head home for our house appraisal. We're getting a HELOC which will allow us to pay off our credit card bills. I cannot wait. Hopefully they appraise the house HIGH!

I took Fritz (and Freddie, cause you know he doesn't like to be without Fritz) to the vet. The doctor wasn't too worried, as it seems the dew claw broke cleanly. Fritz is on antibiotics for the next five days and I put neosporin on it occasionally. It was the cheapest vet visit I've ever had (under $100.... WHEW).

This weekend I'm working out!!! It's been hard with DH out of town, so I haven't done anything since my hike in LA last Friday. I feel fat and gross and blobby. I cannot wait to go for a run and go to Crossfit. I also need to visit urgent care to get my shoulder checked out. I can't get in to the orthopaedist until 3/22, so they suggested I get my care started elsewhere and then I can get into the doctor if it's still hurt in a month.

@jenjen047 Norwell isn't too far for a weekend trip, but since I'm running errands and have to go to Home Depot anyways, I will go to the Plymouth one. It's the nicest one around me and the HG section is HUGE!

@swazzle I want to like scary movies.. but I can't. I lose so much sleep after watching them. I have to watch them early in the morning with all the lights on and my back towards the wall. BF still makes me jump at the damn commercials, never mind the actual movies!

@speakeasy14 Hope you can find someone who can fix your car!

@untouchablets Wow.... I mean I remember the puppy stage but my vet was concerned with day care and dog parks. I think I would have lost my fucking mind if I hadn't been able to take Cinders on walks to help alleviate some of the energy. Don't they get partial immunization from the beginning anyway, first from momma's milk and then from initial immunizations on ward? Sorry...I just was really perplexed by that.

@southernpeach89 I CANNOT WAIT FOR SOME CALLIE TIME!!! I'm going to Skype with @GoldenPenguin and we're going to have the best Auntie-Niece time everrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!

@speakeasy14 Well, as long as Callie doesn't give me a workout like she did last time. Last time we babysat she wouldn't stop screaming so I got in a lot of walking up and down the hallways, going up and down stairs, and so on. I was a hot sweaty mess after that and I definitely logged the activity with WW lol. Also I'm sorry about your car issues.

It's finally Friday you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last night H and I met up with some friends for a beer and wings and we had so much fun. It was Thursday night which means you get a free beer glass when you order one of their beers of the month. I ordered Lagunitas Sucks and I got this adorable mason jar with a PUPPY on it!!!! I think it resembles @Swazzle 's Lucille.

Today I am going out to lunch with my mom at our favorite cafe! Then tonight I need to do some general cleaning and stuff.

On Saturday I get to babysit my sweet Callie girl!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

On Sunday one of our good friends is coming in from out of town to stay with us while he is here for training. I'm looking forward to catching up with him and having a bbq on Wednesday night with him and another friend who is in town on business.
