H and I had a Devils game last night and we won! It was such a good game against our rivals! Sorry, @Peaseblossom55  

Today is my coworker's last day for 6 months. She's due next Wednesday and I couldn't be happier for her but I'm going to miss her so much! I'm pretty sure we spend more time together than I spend with my husband  The cake I got from Nothing Bundt Cake is ADORABLE and we're having a catered lunch later today for her. I stayed late last night with another coworker and we decorated our room with cutesy signs and banners and ribbons. Everything looks so cute!

After work, I have dinner with my BFF and I haven't seen her in a couple weeks so I'm excited for it even if it means I have to travel into the city and then drive home later tonight.

I bought myself a ton of new workout clothes! My two favorites I got off etsy and should be arriving today or tomorrow.

I'll be back to answer questions later- on the phone at work arguing with an insurance company right now. Not even my job but no one else is doing what I need them to do. 

BUT I am super stressed today because I'm an idiot. Last night I went to take a shower. First I wanted to heat up a bottle of lotion. So I run the hot water in the sink and let it soak so I can actually get the lotion out of the damn bottle. Well I jumped in the shower and 10 mins later when I turn the shower off I still hear water running. I left the sink running and it overflowed all over the bathroom floor and it was pouring through the bathroom ceiling in the apartment below me! The management company isn't having anyone come out until today. I'm so scared about how much damage is downstairs because I'm pretty sure I'm going to have to pay for it  I'm so worried. We are saving every penny we have for a down payment to get out of there in a few months and we're so screwed if this is going to be a lot of money.

I picked up my BCP from my pharmacy yesterday. It's going to be so weird starting these back up since I haven't been on them in A LONG time. I finally got some things done around the house last night...laundry, painting, sweeping...Tonight I need to finish that laundry and vacuum...I know if the kitchen floor was bad with all that dog hair then the carpet is probably 10x worse.

I'm going to try oats tonight with Callie. She has been doing really well with the rice cereal and Oats will kind of make everything thicker. We will do this for a few days and see how she reacts to everything. Trying all these needs foods is kind of fun. She thinks it's pretty cool too, I'm loving her curiosity towards it.

What are you wearing today?
I'm wearing a maroon turtle neck sweater from Forever 21, grey dress pants, shiny metalic flats from Target and pearls.
 
Can you believe it'll be March in less than a week? 
Thank God! I feel like February has been dragging. March is going to be a busy month...Callie turning 6 months, St. Patrick's Day, Easter...lots happening.

How's the weather by you?
Yesterday and this morning it was storming but it has cleared up now so it's actually sort of nice outside.
 
What are your favorite pizza toppings? 
I love the mozzarella, basil, and tomato sauce pizzas. I like mushrooms on it too.

What's the last nice thing you did for yourself? 
I bought a bunch of new decorations lol and splurged a little bit earlier this month.

@southernpeach89 - Have you all tried avocado yet with Callie?  I don't know when it's OK to do avocado, but a bunch of my mom friends say that their LOs go crazy for avocado.  So cute!

ATTENTION!!!  I am wearing one of my old/normal skirts (with a belly band).  I haven't tried any on in a couple months because I felt like I was too big and didn't want to get upset, but this morning I took the plunge and slid one on... and to my surprise, it worked!  YAY!!

How's the weather by you? 
Yesterday it was cold and rainy all day.  Today it's sunny with a high in the upper 50s.  This weekend it'll hit 72!!

What are your favorite pizza toppings? 
Normally I like veggie supreme with chicken, or the really fun combos from a brick oven place.  Lately, it's bread and cheese, no sauce.  

What's the last nice thing you did for yourself? 
H took me shopping and I bought some maternity clothes.  I took a bath last night.  This weekend I'm going to work some magic on our bushes and front porch and plant some hardy herbs and potatoes...  that is super exciting to me!

@caseface5 - I'm curious what your bosses comment was now.  Ha, I'm nosy!  I'm glad you don't have to deal with it though.  Hugs.

Full day today at work.  Yesterday was a zoo at work.  I went to the gym last night and did spin, which was great, but ended up having to come back to work afterwards.  Boo.  I showed up in my sweats since no one else was here at least.

I spent last night researching more dresser options and found one on Craigslist but the guy hasn't responded.  @swazzle found a lead for me too I need to check out.  

Tonight after work, I have the gym again.  Then I have to cook tonight and then H and I have to go over some baby list/organization stuff.

What are you wearing today? 

-Black shirt, pinstriped maternity skirt and kitten heels (I wanted to look nice today for some reason). Picture below...can't see the pinstripes but you get the idea.

Can you believe it'll be March in less than a week? 

-Holy crap!  I have no idea where the time has gone.  I can't believe its going to be March.  We have a busy month with H's 40th birthday, our 3rd anniversary, bathroom remodel stuff and baby organization stuff.  I'm really looking forward to April too (Chicago GTG!!!! and H and I start our birthing class to get ready for Ani).

-Blech.  Cold.

-Pepperoni and TONS of cheese.

What's the last nice thing you did for yourself?

-I went to the gym yesterday because I wanted to despite work being a zoo.  I needed the "me" time and for a split second or two I forgot about work while there...mostly while huffing and puffing for breath.

I was convinced today was Thursday so I'm really upset about the fact that it's Wednesday. I'm thinking about making a doctor's appointment because I've been having pain in my upper back. Sometimes I'll sleep wrong and I'll notice in the next day but this has been continuing for a few days now and it's keeping me up at night. And then last night I was having pain in my upper chest....it kind of feels like when you've been coughing too much and the muscles in your chest are sore. I don't know. I woke up around 3 am because of it and couldn't get back to sleep until I took an Advil. I'm wondering if this is some sort of delayed reaction related to my car accident back in November.

Our carpet consultation went well yesterday and Costco is sending me two larger samples to view tomorrow. I found a carpet type that I really love and picked out two colors so I could decide on one. Hopefully the pricing that comes back isn't insanely high...

@CocoBellaF The Belly Band is everything!!!! Also, no avocado yet...but I could start trying it here soon in the next couple of weeks. We are sticking to oats and rice cereal this week just to get her familiar with eating solids and next week we will look into some purees. I bet she is going to go crazy when she starts tasting all these different things.

@jenjen047 Well I stopped taking BCP a few months before we started trying so it would be completely out of my system and during breastfeeding I wasn't taking anything so now that I'm not exclusively nursing anymore I'm starting back on the pill.

Omg all the baby bumps



My sister picked me up from work yesterday and I hung out at her house till my bf picked me up.  Emmy was kicking up a storm so I pretty much did not leave my sister's side.  Her shower is this weekend so I'll be busy Saturday baking cupcakes (not a winnie the pooh cake though because she changed her mind on that... so now just a honey pot and cupcakes).  There's over 60 adults attending plus a ton of kids (maybe 10 are from my family, the rest are my sister's in-laws)... my best friend and I have decided to be those aunts who hide in the corner and drink wine.

Nope.  I'm really thrown off by the leap year haha.

This pattern is called Puppy Love Soooo obvious why I chose it lol! It's a cut and loop pattern with multi colored strands because I didn't care for any of the single color carpets.

I don't remember the other color but it's almost a greige in the same cut and loop pattern as above. We have to stick with really light colors because our house is pretty dark...especially the master bedroom.

@labro - We won't be doing nearly as much yardwork as I'd like.  I'd love to dig up some bushes and replant, but we'll tackle that next year.  I do need to trim my knock-out roses WAY back, and some kind of tree shrub that looks ridiculous.  And I love to do my porch up, but I really haven't since Halloween since I've been so sick.  I just haven't cared much about it.  But now that it is SPRING, I'm all about revamping it and making it look nice again.  Next year we can hopefully fix up the landscaping.

Yeah, she really sold me on this stuff. Apparently it has some sort of "Pet Protect" finish which stops dog hairs from getting embedded in the carpet so it makes for easier cleaning.

why do I keep getting invited to awful weddings.... we got a save the date for my bf's friend's wedding.  They were chatting about it and apparently it's an outdoor ceremony, indoor/outdoor reception in November in New Jersey....
