Re: Cloth

  • Unless this person is in your actual wedding party, you have no say over what he can and cannot wear.  If he wishes to wear his dress blues then that is what he should wear.

  • He should absolutely be able to wear his dress blues if he wants to wear them.

  • You should be honored that he wants to wear his dress blues at your wedding.

    Indeed.
  • Tbh, I thought this was going to be about the bride trying to make someone wear their blues.  You should let him wear whatever he feels comfortable wearing. Actually it should be a matter of you "letting" him do anything.  He doesn't need your approval or permission for what he wears to your wedding. If he wants to wear his blues, then that's what he should wear.

  • I absolutely love seeing service men and women wearing their dress uniforms. My cousin is RCMP and there is nothing like the red surge. I would stay far away from dressing your guests. Feel honoured that you have a proud service member in your family.

Me too. I'm in a four-generation military family and proud of it.

I also just plain like seeing men and women in uniform.  :)
  • I think, it's his own choise and you shouldn't impact on it. It won't be able to spoil your big day in any case. Moreover, you will be proud of him))
