choreograph dance

I was looking at some videos on you tube and I really like the idea about doing a surprise, non-traditional choreograph dance at the reception .... Is anyone doing this? Did you hire a professional dancer? If so, who?
What do you all think? like/dislike/hate/love??

I have never seen one but I would bet that it could easily turn into a cringeworthy disaster! From what I've read on other boards, they don't always turn out like YouTube.

Unless you and your FI are dancers I wouldn't do it for a few reasons:
-The reception isn't a time for the bride and groom to perform.
-These often fall flat.
-The guests just aren't that into it.   For all the viral videos on You Tube are millions that are only watched by loved ones and even then - only because they're loved ones.

That doesn't mean that you have to go traditional with your first dance song but IMO, don't try to hard or it's going to look like you're trying to hard .
