Venue help ! Please

Hey everyone ! I am looking for a inexpensive location for baby shower in detroit. I am planning from out of state (Texas) so really need a lot of help. Anyone know of any community centers or other venues that are less than $1,000 for Saturday rental??

    Do you know what community the people you are throwing it for live in?  For example, Rochester has a great community center where you can bring in your own catering but it's only available to residents of Rochester or Rochester Hills.  Other places may have something similar so it would help to know a little more about where you're looking!

    I don't know much about grand rapids but Dearborn has lots of community center type places.  They likely have a good city web page that might be of big help to you.  Good luck!
