I'm trying to find a hair/makeup artist to come to my house and for my bridesmaids (and potentially moms too). It seems almost impossible to find anyone in the area who charges less than $65-$80 for an updo. With the majority of my bridal party traveling for our wedding, I can't ask them to pay that much. Does anyone have any recommendations on a more reasonably priced stylist? I'm looking for someone who charges $45-$50 for hair, and am pretty flexible on makeup prices. I'd also prefer more than one person, since I have 8 bridesmaids.
Am I being unrealistic? There has to be someone out there who doesn't charge so much.
