Airbnb in NOLA

My FI and I are going on a cruise out of New Orleans and we are looking into staying a couple days after the cruise. Has anyone used Airbnb in NOLA? Or has anyone used Airbnb in general? Thank you!

    H & I stayed at the Wyndham French Quarter for one evening in NOLA.  We moved to our timeshare unit the next day.  But the hotel was really nice, the rooms are above the parking garage and pool, so even though its in the FQ, you don't hear any street noise.  It is also centrally located to everything in the FQ.  While not airbnb, it was a really nice hotel!
