Knottie# - the majority of the people on this site love weddings and enjoy helping others navigate the planning process. There would be a lack of information and advice if all you had were those seeking information.

On an internet forum, posters often get more information than they thought they would. On TK, the advice and information is usually helpful and will always encourage adhering to etiquette to ensure that your guests are taken care of. We sometimes come off as harsh, but the majority of OPs will see that they have overlooked something, let the group know that the advice was received, change their name to something memorable and then join the community. Most of us got our asses handed to us at some point and we realized that the community helped us avoid a major blunder.

If my wedding was THE highlight of my life at 27 then that just sets up the rest of my life to be downhill from there.   No thank you.   

I love a great party but I'm looking forward to lots of great moments in my life and most won't require 3 dress fittings.
