Granted, most weddings I work are buffet or strolling and not seated dinners, I'd say yes from a catering perspective.  We actually make to go boxes for the bride and groom and give it to them at the end of the night and 9/10 times they're excited because they're still hungry. The best wedding was the one where the brides family was from Pittsburgh, so unbeknownst to us, as we were getting the to go food, the family boxed up extras from the cookie table for all of us to take home!
