Good morning, NEY! 

I'm still swollen, in pain, and bruised but (so far) I'm not nearly as cranky as yesterday so I'm counting it as a win. 

Last night H did alllll the yard work and I made us sriracha shrimp rolls for dinner. I wasn't kidding when I said these would be going into the weekly rotation. They're just so easy and delicious! We squeezed in 1 episode of GOT and watching the series this slowly is seriously killing me inside. H had hockey so I poured a glass of a new delicious Merlot I got from Club W, folded laundry, and then read in bed. 

Tonight H has a tattoo appointment, I have no idea what I want for dinner yet, and I need to finish doing the laundry. Tonight is also the premiere of the final season of PLL but @GoldenPenguin will be at my house on Friday so we're both holding out so we can watch together. NO SPOILERS AT ALL, NOT EVEN SORT OF ONES, PLEASE (ahem @speakeasy14 )!

@Swazzle I'm sorry you're still swollen and bruised  Hopefully that goes down soon. I'm glad you're in a better mood today! Those shrimp rolls sound soooo good!!

Yesterday I cleaned our microwave and oven for the first time in a while and I'm embarrassed by how dirty they were....the microwave wasn't terrible but omg the oven lol. I finally got out and got my car washed also, it was also embarrassingly dirty. 

Maddux had a great vet check up! He has lost some weight from all his play dates with @labro 's Cinders!! He is down to 85 lbs after getting up to 95 lbs right after Callie was born. Afterwards we went to CrossFit and watched GoT and Bachelorette last night. GoT was sooo good! I don't want the season finale to be next week.

Today I need to go to the post office to mail out some gifts and I'm also working on a new art project for Callie's play space upstairs. I spray painted a huge canvas yesterday and my fingers are still all black from that.

Tonight we are going to CrossFit and I'm making Veggie Soup and cheddar muffins for dinner.

On Sunday when BF was mowing the lawn, a rock must have come up and hit my windshield because there is a huge crack in it. I forgot to call during work yesterday, and the crack got worse. I have an appointment for today, and they are going to come right to my car at work to fix it. I am just waiting to call my agent because my confirmation email gave me a quote and I shouldn't have to pay anything.

Tonight my work is doing an employee appreciation thing, and it's a sunset cruise! BF is coming and some coworkers are bringing their SOs. The boat is free and there will be snacks and a cash bar. Should be a good time. It's been raining this morning but hopefully the weather will get better before then (weather app says it should).

We were up early this morning because Tessis got sick over the side of the bed. I cleaned it up and right as we were all falling back to sleep, it started to storm pretty bad, so I am a little sleepy today.

@Swazzle They are nuts! Cinders doesn't stop and Maddux will just lay down hahaha. You look amazing btw....you don't need Cinders play dates unless of course that means you will come visit then all the Cinders play dates are waiting for you!!

@LizzyTish88 that boat cruise sounds awesome! It looks like it's already clearing up so hopefully the weather will be fine.

Last night I made it a goal to run 5 miles and I did it! I had to walk up the steepest part of a hill I always run but I was really proud of myself. My hip has been feeling much better but having not run the right amount for training in the past week and then the heat yesterday, I was really worried. Felt good to be back on schedule.

I made a new recipe for dinner last night - Gouda and Apple stuffed Chicken Breast. It was really good but I think next time I would just top a butterflied chicken breast with the stuff instead of stuffing a full one - it was way too much chicken.

This morning I woke up because something was flickering in our living room and the cat was meowing. I'm terrified (seriously, terrified) of house fires so I immediately jumped out of bed and peeked out. Our cat totally freakin' turned the TV on! He must have sat on the remote. It was so freaky but also so annoying. Luckily I went back to sleep for about an hour.

I hope today goes by quickly! I can't believe it's only Tuesday.

@PamBeesly524 Omg I am lol'ing over your cat turning on the TV! I'm glad it wasn't a real scare and just something cute...even if it woke you up in the middle of the night.

Last night we went with my dad and my youngest sister to this burger/milkshake place for dinner. My milkshake was supppper yummy but the greasy burger definitely had me groaning afterwards. But it was worth it to spend some time with them.

Today is the 3 year anniversary of the day we brought home Cinders!!! So here's a big photo dump of her fat puppy adorableness!



Anyway tonight is bookclub! Hopefully I'll be able to get a little laundry done before I have to leave!

Hey! I had a doctor's appointment yesterday morning so then we used a vacation day. Got a ton done around the house- H put in the car seats and built the swing. We went to pick up the glider from my friend and stopped for a quick swim in the lake. I ordered the remaining stuff from my registry. It was a nice day!

Doctor thinks he's still flipping around, and not in head down position yet so that kinda freaks me out. He has about 2-3 weeks to flip so it's not a concern but still makes me slightly nervous. I'm catching up on all the work emails so I haven't read yesterday's- did anyone have crazy news that I missed?!

@southernpeach89 yay glad cinders lost weight and is healthier

@lizzytish88 harbor cruises are awesome, I don't think it's supposed to rain later! The storms definitely had us up from 3am-5am. Wishing I could have an energy drink today but I can't. ugh

@pambeesly524 haha kitty watching some TV! We got the glider (rocking chair) for the nursery yesterday and I said I better throw a towel on this because some douchebag is going to lay on it. Sure enough 5 minutes later, she was asleep on it.

@swazzle what happened that you're all sore? Hopefully just a tough work out and not like an accident.. hope you get better soon

Good morning! It's foggy and feels cool outside here, but the forecast claims it will reach 88. Lame! I think today will be a cleaning/tv day. 

Yesterday I went shopping at TJ's and bought some snacks. I officially recommend the chocolate covered dunkers, mango bon bons and bacon white cheddar popcorn. And it's all "healthy"!

We ate Spicy BBQ chicken, TJ's mac and cheese and broccoli salad last night for dinner. It was so good! I have skipped almost all of the summer weeks for BA, since I won't be rushed to make dinner each day. I'm definitely going to steal some summer recipes from you guys! After dinner, we watched 1.5 episodes of OITNB. I fell asleep during the 2nd episode, so we will have to rewatch it tonight. I would watch it today but I fear I will go ahead lol

Good morning! Last night H and I went out to celebrate bc I found out that my job is safe, I'll still report to my boss, and best of all...I DON'T HAVE TO COMMUTE DOWNTOWN! Thank you sweet baby Jesus. We went out for Mexican food and margaritas which were fabulous. Then we came home, H watered the yard, and we watched The Bachelorette. Today should be pretty busy at work because I have to start sending all of the necessary info to the new girl who will be helping me (since my boss is out of the picture on this particular process). It's kind of scary to have my boss hand something over to me like that but I'm glad she has faith in me. Tonight I'm hoping we can hit the gym bc I've been pretty lazy lately. And on Friday my dad is bringing over his old elliptical for us!

@swazzle - Glad you are feeling (a little) better today. I wouldn't mind that bc then I could use it as a real excuse for not having to talk to the dumbasses I work with.
@southernpeach89 - Is the new project something you're going to hang up? You'll have to AW it of course!
@LizzyTish88 - A sunset cruise sounds awesome! I've never been on one of those but they look fun. So nice of your company to do that!
@PamBeesly524 - That's so funny about your cat! Wonder what he was watching!

@beachyone15 I really had no idea. I think some babies are in position and ready at 30 weeks and never move much and then others are flipping around constantly until 37-38 weeks. Which is stressful lol. Yaaaaaaaaay I'm so glad you get your job and same location!!

@beachyone15 It is true, summers off are nice! I would totally go into work for you, but your boss probably wouldn't be happy with you anymore...oh yeah, and the commute would be a couple days lol

Not much last night. I had a dentist appointment, and good news is no root canal. Bad news is I'm all swollen and sore today. Idk why, I'm never this bad afterwards! I got 3 needles and I think they hit a nerve or muscle.
We kept having tornado and tstorm warnings - like every 10 seconds alarm would go off on tv/radio - but nothing happened. The wind was wonderful because it's been stupidly hot. We saw Mammatus clouds - link from google in case you've never seen them.

I'm super tired today because of my jaw pain. I couldn't sleep until late because it hurt and was uncomfortable and swollen. Less swelling today, but I'm likely going to put something frozen on my jaw to help later.


Not a whole lot else. We were going to do groceries tonight but Matt's uncle wants to swing by and pick his brain about something, so we're going home to do dishes super fast before he gets there.

just looked up apparently putting something frozen on your jaw isn't helpful. so warm cloth it is!

@swazzle & @GoldenPenguin Fine I'll watch it all by myself! Haha actually we're going car shopping tonight and hosting my family tomorrow for Father's day. So once we get a car, I'll be deep cleaning the house all night.  Probably won't watch till Thursday.

@LizzyTish88 It was thunderstorms here this morning, but was done by 7am.  If you get what we had it shouldn't last long at all. That's awesome of the school district to do that for you guys!

@PamBeesly524 loaded baked potato popcorn is my favorite popcorn flavor, so the bacon cheddar popcorn sounds great!

@labro I think Cinders needs some puppy ice cream today! 

Last night we decided to start a new summer tradition.  Mondays are going to be Mojito Mondays!  I'm feeling it a little today, but they were so good!

Tonight we'll be going car shopping for at least one car (maybe two if we get a good enough deal).  After that I'll be deep cleaning the house because I'm having my dad, his wife, and all my siblings over for dinner tomorrow. Does anyone else have a moment of panic and need to deep clean whenever company is coming over?

Woo today is the big day! I've got crazy huge butterflies in my stomach. My interview is scheduled from 1:00-2:30pm.

Tonight we're going to see Dreamgirls,which will be really fun. It's going to be a little chaotic getting downtown and finding food before the show starts, but we'll figure something out. I'm taking a half day so that I have time to do my interview, board Zoey, and get downtown for the show. Should be a fun but hectic day!

Last night was a really great workout. I inadvertently did 65 minutes on the elliptical! I was at the end of my audio book, and I got wrapped up in the story. When the book finally ended, I looked down and realized I'd gone way over the planned exercise time. Pretty cool! Last Monday I was struggling to do 30 minutes on the elliptical, and last night I breezed through an hour. Muscle memory is crazy!

Oh, face palm moment of the day: I left my lunchbox at home, which had my breakfast, lunch, and a snack in it. UGH.

@speakeasy14 - Yes! Every damn time. H and I tag team it and can usually get the house cleaned up pretty quick. I love the Mojito Monday idea. We used to do Margarita Mondays. I have no idea why that stopped, but we might have to bring it back. It definitely helps me get through Monday!

We are being audited today by the people that set the standards my job revolves around. Luckily I don't have to interview or anything, but it is deadly quiet since everything is happening at another location. Most of the time they just pick one random person's report and dig into it like crazy. Fingers crossed it's not one of mine! Even though I'm sure I'd be fine.

Tonight I'm making beef arepas for dinner, and might get some hard root beer on the way home because that just sounds delicious right now. I wanted to start another book last night but can't decide.

Books I own that I haven't read: Invisible Girls, In The Garden of Beasts, The Kite Runner

Books I'm willing to go buy: Another Jojo Moyes book (either Honeymoon in Paris or another suggestion), Miss Peregrine's #2, Hunger Games

Anyone want to tell me what to do? I'm indecisive enough that I'll probably run with it.
