Last name wording help!

Hi! I am trying to word out my wedding invites and have a question if we need our last names on the invitation?

"Join us for 
the wedding of
Bride first (and last??)
and
Groom first (and last??)"

Just curious because our names are kind of long - my first and middle name are 8 letters each, last is 9 letters.. and his is 6-7-7. and Im not sure how they will look/if they will fit

Your wording is a bit confusing.  Who is hosting your wedding?  You?
It is against etiquette for the bride and groom to directly invite people to their own wedding.  When they are the hosts, the wording is changed so that they are not indicated directly as hosts.
If your last names do not appear on the invitations, it will be very confusing to guests.  Middle names are not required unless there are close relatives who share the same first and last name.  Examples"  Mary Joan Smith and her grandmother, Mary Louise Smith.

Here is the traditional wording for a wedding invitation where the bride and groom are the hosts.

The pleasure of your company is requested

at the marriage of

Mary Joan Smith

and

John George Doe

Saturday, the twenty-fourth of June

two thousand seventeen

at six o'clock

Venue

123  Maple Street

Anytown, Iowa

Of course, you are not required to use traditional wording, but your invitation must clearly state who, what, when and where.  This means using your last names.

We did not use last names on our invitations but we had a small casual wedding and everyone already knew they were being invited. Our last names did appear on the return address of the envelope. I think it is a know your crowd.
